Easy to place everywhere.
BeoSound 1 is a straightforward and compact wireless speaker system that is battery-powered, so it can be placed anywhere and is designed for a relaxed listening experience. A small notch on the top of the system makes it easy to carry the speaker to the desired location. The built-in Li-ion battery promises up to 16 hours of playback time at moderate volume levels.
The wireless speaker system utilizes Bang & Olufsen's high-quality audio technologies. These include Acoustic Lens Technology, which is used in the successful BeoLab 5 and BeoLab 18 speaker classics. The acoustic driver unit is located in the upper part of the speaker and uses a reflector to provide a spherical and powerful 360-degree sound experience.
Streaming functions.
BeoSound 1 is based on the new audio engine platform that enables streaming from mobile devices with the latest technologies, such as: AirPlay2, Chromecast built-in, DLNA and Bluetooth. In addition, BeoSound 1 offers built-in access to TuneIn internet radio stations, as well as Spotify and Deezer music services, allowing music streaming without a smartphone or tablet.
The speaker naturally belongs to the extended circle of the BeoLink Multiroom family. It can be used as a single product or merged into a multiroom configuration. Simply connect your smartphone via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi and play music.
Simple, intuitive operation.
Operating the speaker is very simple. It is controlled with a touch, a turn or a swipe on the surface, or wirelessly with a smartphone or tablet via Google Cast.
Simply conjuring up the music you want in your home is underscored by another magical finesse with BeoSound 1. Proximity sensors allow the basic functions to be controlled intuitively. When a person approaches the speaker, the user interface is automatically turned towards them and the system is ready to accept commands. The top of the speaker can be turned like a wheel to adjust the volume, and swiping across or tapping the surface executes other commands.
The OneTouch user interface of the Beosound 1 with Google Assistant has been redesigned and improved. It has been enhanced with dedicated and personalized favorite buttons, a command button to start voice control, and multi-room functionality.
