Shipping policy

In the interest of our customers, we strive to dispatch orders cost-effectively, quickly, and reliably. We have chosen TALK-POINT GmbH, Bahnhofstr. 21, 04838 Eilenburg, Germany as our logistics partner. The following overview details the shipping costs for different shipping zones and the available payment options for each zone. For deliveries to non-European or non-EU countries, additional country-specific import duties, customs clearance fees, customs service charges, and import turnover taxes may apply. The exact amount depends on the respective destination country. Please inquire about these fees with your local customs office prior to ordering. These charges are to be borne by you.

Shipping within Germany is free of charge. For shipping within Europe² we charge a flat rate of €9.90 per order.

Note: Please note that any processing fees (e.g., for money transfers) are to be borne by the buyer.

 


Notice Regarding the Packaging Ordinance (VerpackV)

Regarding sales packaging filled with goods for the first time by Klang & Design GmbH & Co. KG and delivered to private end-consumers, Klang & Design GmbH & Co. KG has joined the nationwide take-back system of EKO-PUNKT GmbH (Customer Number: 2180000894) to ensure compliance with legal obligations pursuant to § 6 VerpackV.

 


Notice on Battery Disposal Pursuant to the German Battery Act (BattG)

In connection with the sale of batteries or the delivery of devices containing batteries, we, as a distributor, are legally obligated under § 18 BattG to inform you of the following:

Batteries must not be disposed of in household waste and are marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol:

Where specific limit values are exceeded, the chemical symbols for Cadmium (Cd), Lead (Pb), and Mercury (Hg) are indicated.

Pb = Battery contains more than 0.004 percent by mass of lead

Cd = Battery contains more than 0.002 percent by mass of cadmium

Hg = Battery contains more than 0.0005 percent by mass of mercury

As an end user, you are legally obligated to return used batteries. You can return used batteries free of charge after use to public collection points established by public waste management authorities (e.g., municipal collection points), local retail stores, or directly to our sales location. If you wish to return batteries directly to us, you can send them post-paid or deliver them free of charge to the following address:

Details on Payment Methods

Credit Card

Accepted cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express
Charge timing: The amount is debited from your credit card immediately upon order completion.
Security: Credit card payments require authorization via your bank's 3D Secure procedure (e.g., via banking app, SMS code, or TAN). This additional authentication protects you from unauthorized transactions.
Issues with authorization? If you experience difficulties with authentication, please contact your card-issuing bank to set up 3D Secure or clarify alternative methods.
Refunds: In the event of cancellations or returns, the amount will be refunded to the credit card originally used. The credit may take 3–10 business days depending on your bank.

Payment processing is handled via our payment service provider. The Terms & Conditions of  Shopify Payments apply.

PayPal

Requirement: A PayPal account is recommended. Alternatively, you can pay via PayPal as a guest using direct debit or credit card (max. 3 times, up to €1,500).
Charge timing: The amount is debited from your PayPal account immediately upon order completion or collected via the payment source stored with PayPal.
Refunds: In the event of cancellations or returns, the credit is issued to your PayPal account.

PayPal Installments

PayPal offers the option to pay for purchases in installments. This option is displayed directly in the PayPal checkout if available for your order.
Important note on credit checks: For PayPal Installments, PayPal performs a credit check. Your data will be transmitted to credit bureaus (e.g., SCHUFA in Germany) to assess your creditworthiness. Installment payments are subject to a positive credit check.

Apple Pay

Requirement: An Apple device with Apple Pay configured and a saved payment method (credit or debit card).
Charge timing: The amount is charged immediately upon order completion via the card registered in Apple Pay.
Security: Apple Pay uses Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode for authentication. Your actual card numbers are never stored on your device or our servers.
Refunds: In the event of cancellations or returns, the amount is refunded to the card used in Apple Pay.

Bank Transfer / Payment in Advance

When paying in advance, you transfer the invoice amount prior to the dispatch of goods.
Charge timing: Upon your manual transfer. Please note that payment must be received within 14 days, otherwise the order will be automatically canceled.
Delivery: Dispatch takes place once payment has been cleared in our bank account.
Payment Reference: Please state your order number as the payment reference so we can allocate your payment quickly.
Refunds: In the event of cancellations or returns, refunds will be credited back to the bank account from which the original transfer was made.

Data Privacy for Payments

Your payment data is processed via our payment service providers (Shopify Payments, PayPal). These providers process your data in accordance with their respective privacy policies.

Note on Data Transfer: When using Shopify Payments and Shop Pay, data may be transferred to the USA. This is conducted under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF), ensuring an adequate level of data protection.

Payment Security

All payments are processed via encrypted connections (SSL/TLS). Your payment details are not stored on our servers but are processed directly by the respective payment service providers.
