Designed by Torsten Valeur, the Beosound Level is a pure expression of minimalist Scandinavian aesthetics. Its adaptive architecture blends flexibly into any setting—whether standing upright on a shelf, gracefully mounted on a wall, or lying flat on a table.
Crafted at the historic Factory 5 in Struer, Denmark, the pearl-blasted aluminium frame highlights Bang & Olufsen’s unrivaled expertise in metalwork. Thoughtfully selected materials bring a warm, tactile feel to the technology: choose natural oak veneer that highlights the wood's organic grain in the style of luxury furniture, or a seamless dark grey fabric cover from textile specialist Kvadrat.
Sustainability is integral to its design, with high-performance polymers selected for durability, closed material loops, and complete traceability.
For effortless and aesthetic recharging, the Beosound Level features an innovative Easy-Charge solution. A magnetic aluminium plug snaps intuitively into place on the rear of the speaker, flush with the housing. The premium cable design blends seamlessly into the overall aesthetic, ensuring the charging setup remains elegant even when in full view.
An optional wall bracket offers additional versatility, powering the speaker directly while playing music. When you want to take your sound with you, the Beosound Level detaches effortlessly from the bracket in a single motion.
Delivering a total output power of 105 watts, the Beosound Level provides impressive acoustic clarity and dynamic bass. Its advanced five-driver configuration—comprising two 4-inch woofers, one 2-inch full-range driver, and two 0.8-inch tweeters—is powered by low-distortion amplifiers. This architecture creates a solid foundation, achieving 79 dB in the bass range and 96 dB in the midrange.
Next-generation active room compensation continuously analyzes surrounding room acoustics and efficiently optimizes power consumption, enabling an impressive playback time of up to 16 hours at normal listening volumes. Depending on placement—whether lying flat or standing upright—the audio system automatically transitions between 180-degree and room-filling 360-degree sound dispersion.
For an even more immersive listening experience, two Beosound Level speakers can be wirelessly paired in stereo to create an authentically detailed soundstage with studio-quality precision.
With IP54-certified dust and splash resistance, the housing is reliably protected for flexible use in living areas, on balconies, or in the garden. The touch interface integrates seamlessly into the precision-milled aluminium frame, while embedded proximity sensors automatically illuminate the controls upon approach, adapt brightness to ambient lighting, and gently dim when not in use.
With the Beosound Level, Bang & Olufsen sets new standards for technological sustainability. Its modular design allows for straightforward maintenance, allowing components such as the battery to be easily serviced. A replaceable streaming and processor module guarantees long-term future-proofing: should streaming standards evolve over time, the connectivity and computing unit can be upgraded via service, ensuring decades of exceptional performance.
