Note regarding the new symbols under the Radio Equipment Act (FuAG)

Since July 2025, new labeling requirements have come into effect under the revised Radio Equipment Act (FuAG) for radio-based devices, such as those featuring WLAN or Bluetooth. You will now find additional symbols or notices on many products. The European Union’s objective with these changes is to significantly reduce electronic waste.

A graphic with information about the power supply unit

If the graphic on the left is crossed out: This means that NO power adapter is included in the scope of delivery.

If it is NOT crossed out: This indicates that a compatible power adapter IS included.

The graphic on the right provides information regarding the specifications the power adapter has (if included) or must have (if not included).

Value XX: Represents the minimum power output the adapter provides or requires to operate the device.

Value YY: Indicates the maximum power output required to achieve peak charging speeds.

"USB-PD": This abbreviation appears if the device supports the USB Power Delivery protocol. USB PD manages the fastest possible power supply from the adapter to the device without compromising battery longevity—provided the adapter also supports this technology.

The EU and national legislators aim to target and reduce electronic waste. Since many households already own multiple chargers, the goal is to avoid the unnecessary production of additional power adapters.
